Rosecliff is a true gem on Newport's Bellevue Avenue and certainly one of the most recognizable historic buildings in New England. With its ocean views, ornate architecture, and famed rose gardens, Rosecliff Mansion is host to some of the most elegant weddings in Newport Rhode Island. It is a venue that continues to wow its guests more than 100 years after it was built as a summer châteaux.

With the majestic Rosecliff Mansion, the romantic sail aboard the Madeline yacht, and the culinary delights of Stoneacre Brasserie, every element came together to weave a tapestry of love, joy, and enchantment. In the heart of the picturesque coastal town of Newport, Rhode Island, lies a historic treasure that set the stage for a winter wedding like no other. The enchanting Rosecliff Mansion, with its timeless beauty and Gilded Age grandeur, played host to a vintage vogue inspired celebration that transported guests to an era of glamour, sophistication, and romance.
The bride wore two stunning dresses; the first a classic grand ballgown and the second a sophisticated vintage-inspired dress.
ROSES IN FULL BLOOM AT THIS SUMMER RHODE ISLAND WEDDING
Christine and Joe began their wedding day at the the Vanderbilt Hotel, which was once owned by famed businessman Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt.
The couple had their first look by the hotel pool, before riding together to Brenton Point to take photos on the stunning rocky landscape by the ocean.
We took traditional family portraits on the steps in front of Rosecliff, followed by couple portraits in the rose garden, which was in full bloom.
The couple enjoyed both their ceremony and reception at Rosecliff. Wedding ceremonies on the lawn at the venue are truly stunning. A floral arch really pops off the expansive lawn and ocean views.
We ended the evening with some night portraits in front of Rosecliff mansion. There had been storms rumbling throughout the day (we were lucky to miss them for the photos), but the evening sky cleared up and made the evening photos pop.
