As a Newport wedding photographer, I have been privileged to photograph the most exquisite events. The architecture, style, and stunning venues make it one of the best wedding destinations worldwide.
Wedding photography in Newport Rhode Island has been one of the highlights of my wedding photography career. My timeless images work so well with beautiful Newport venues, such as Bell Mer, Castle Hill Inn, and Rosecliff.
Hosting your wedding day at a Newport venue will have both you and your wedding guests talking for years to come. Many of my couples return to Newport to celebrate their anniversary.
Newport, Rhode Island is the shining star of the New England coast and has been host to some of my most elegant weddings. From the grand architecture of the Newport mansions, such as Rosecliff, to the modern elegance of Belle Mer and the Newport Beach House, dockside Bohlin, and historic Castle Hill Inn, Newport, RI wedding venues are some of New England's best.
I've always had a feeling of being transported back in time while working in Newport. Bellevue Avenue, the Cliff Walk, and the wharf layer in historic texture into oceanside wedding photos. Newport wedding photographers also have the privilege of photographing to some on the most exquisite sunsets around!
For most of my Newport wedding clients, this seaside gem is a destination. I find having a wedding planner, who specializes in wedding events, even if you opt only for day-of coordination, will help to make sure everything goes off without a hitch on your big day, allowing you to best enjoy your special moments.

newport beach house wedding
modern elegant style with photos at ochre court
Shaina and Mark started their wedding day at the Brenton Hotel. It is an exquisite new hotel in Newport. The staircase was perfect for a few quick portraits of Shaina as she headed out to have her first look with Mark, just across the street.
We headed to Ochre Court at Salve Regina for wedding party and family portraits. I love this venue as an additional site for wedding photography, as well as a rain plan. Ochre Court typically allows couples to book the property a month before the wedding date.
The couple selected Newport Beach House for both their ceremony and reception. The couple enjoyed heartfelt toasts from their gamily throughout dinner and then enjoyed a wild dance floor into the evening. One of my favorite parts of the day was when the couple's guests hoisted them into the air on the dance floor.
Summer Newport wedding with a blue and sorbet color scheme
Noha & Alex began their Newport, RI wedding with a rehearsal dinner celebration at the Hotel Viking courtyard. Noha selected a beach cottage for her and her bridesmaids to get ready. I loved how were were able to easily access the beach for bridesmaids photos! Alex prepared for the day at the chalet suite, just upstairs from the tent.
The couple headed to Grace Kelly Beach for their first look and then we hopped into the golf cart for portraits at the lighthouse.
Flowers by Stoneblossom in pale blue and sorbet tones, mimicking the sunset sky, adorned the historic stone arch and lined the ceremony aisle. Their summer Castle Hill Inn wedding featured stunning florals hung from the tent ceiling, floral bridesmaids dresses, and lovely watercolor invitations.
Their guests enjoyed signature cocktails and the warm, summer ocean air as they mingled during cocktail hour. They capped off their special day with night photos under the full moon and danced their way into the evening with their family and friends.
Classic and sophisticated summer newport wedding
This couple's sophisticated, classic style was the perfect match to my wedding photography. From classic black and white wedding invitations to the bride's simple, classic dress and updo, to the lovely florals, each piece of this wedding was designed in perfect taste.
We started the wedding day with getting ready pictures at the Newport Marriott, just down the street from Belle Mer. I loved the clean, neutral design of Eva's hotel suite, which matched the tone for the rest of the day.
Eva and Carl's lively affair included a first look on Belle Mer's grounds. Eva's parents surprised the couple by bringing their beloved dog for a few quick wedding photos. After a beautiful and emotional first look, we took family wedding photos on the ocean lawn.
This couple opted to host both their ceremony and reception at Belle Mer, which made for the most beautiful natural light pictures. They were married in front of their guests on the stunning property, overlooking the ocean.
From start to finish, their entire wedding day was a party. The energy on the dance floor was second to none. I've since had the pleasure of photographing more weddings for this group of friends, and the party never disappoints.
Roses in full bloom at this summer rhode island wedding
Christine and Joe began their wedding day at the the Vanderbilt Hotel, which was once owned by famed businessman Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt.
The couple had their first look by the pool, before riding together to Brenton Point to take photos on the stunning rocky landscape by the ocean.
We took traditional family portraits on the steps in front of Rosecliff, followed by couple portraits in the rose garden, which was in full bloom.
The couple enjoyed both their ceremony and reception at Rosecliff. Wedding ceremonies on the lawn at the venue are truly stunning.
