I didn't set out to become a photographer and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found and thrived in this business.
My experience is varied and diverse and perfectly primed me for a career in photography.
After graduating from Emerson College with a degree in marking communications, I thought I would pursue a career in writing. I interned at Wedding Dresses Magazine in New York City and then decided to return to Boston for a master's degree in journalism. I moonlighted as a hostess at the Four Seasons and waitressed at Game On during Red Sox season.
After school, I landed a job at Boston.com where I collaborated with Boston Globe photographers on digital media features. It was here that the fates aligned; I picked up a camera and haven't put it down since, more than 15 years later.
I love to feel and love to capture people feeling. My clients are my muses and working with them makes my heart full.
I live in Sherborn, MA with my husband, two young sons, and mini goldendoodle, Cliff. I throw a mean kitchen dance party, think Lake Winnipesaukee is heaven on earth, jumped in the lake right after my wedding ceremony, play my music really loud, and have been known to build furniture and renovate our home from time-to-time.
